Completely immersed with the soft
Ocean view
Murky grey skies
Paired with blue green waters
Lined up with the soft tan sand
Is my getaway,
My safe haven
Even when the rain pours down as
Night sets in
Telling me it’s time to go in, I sit, not yet
Afraid of the
Raging storm around me, with the wind
Yelling in my ears in an attempt to
Coax me in but,
Only making me want to stay, letting the
Rain drip down my face,
Awakening my soul, oh how
Lovely my little ocean spot is to me.
This poem was very well written! It described someone's safe haven very well, and I feel like this person is longing for something that his/her world cannot offer.
